Had a buddy come back from a deployment and needed some cash, so I helped him out and bought this knife. I just got home with it about 20 minutes ago and snapped some pictures.
The knife for sale, as the title states, is a Benchmade 810 Contego. Black class, Satin M4 blade with Plain edge, G10 grips, and a Carbide glass breaker.
According to my friend, the blade has never been sharpened (It easily shaves hair off my arm), and the knife has never been carried. Seeing as he's been gone for so long, and it was at his home, I can at the very least trust him on that.
Included with this knife are the Black Class box, Benchmade bag, User Care Manual, and finally the Blue AXIS lock instruction tab.
In all honesty, the knifes cutting edge, scales, and belt clip look flawless. The only negatives, there's a mark on the blade, looks like a surface scratch (Can be seen in 2 pictures.) and the knife isn't perfectly centered. It's still VERY smooth and opens and closes cleanly.
The box still stands up straight and is in great condition, but does have a few lines on it from something being stacked on top. Also, the original price tag was probably on the box label, as you can see where it was pulled off. So all you can read is "810 -----GO" and the bar code has been crossed out. Don't know why, don't really care why, it's just a box, but I'm being 100% honest.
All I want out of this is to break even with what I paid him.
