As the title states, I have an Emerson CQC-7A that has been modded.
This is what has been done.
**Blade has been overhauled with a Brad Southard regrind making it a true V-grind. May be easier to maintain for most people.
**It now has a Red Backspacer instead of the standard black.
**Both liners are Titanium.
**The clip has been Stonewashed
**I believe the Hardware (screws) have been Stonewashed as well.
**The G-10 scales have been slightly thinned
The overall result is that this knife is lighter and much more EDC/pocket freindly.
Centering is perfect, and the blade hasn't been used since the regrind job.
The only flaw is a slight rub on the pivot screw.
I think this is almost a one of a kind knife now.
