How's the detent ball roll on this unit? I owned one for about 2 days before sending it back to KC due to the detent ball not rolling and it cutting a snail trail into the blade along its path. If that's bare Ti it might not have gotten left in during anodizing, resulting in the flat/corroded detent ball.

I was just speculating. You could be right. I just know mine had cut a line into the blade within 48 hours of taking it out of the box. I'm not saying that is the case with any other unit other than the one I received. I was just asking due to that particular experience.
