Got a barely used SAR5 here. Great knife... I'm just always gonna prefer my NO-E over it so it'll get limited use. I stripped the coating and gave it a semi-convex edge by hand. The edge is highly polished and very sharp. I hand rubbed the blade and gave it sort of a matte satin look. I left the coating on the spine where the handle is and at the bottom below the handle. Comes with Okuden sheath with tec lok. Great knife, just doesn't fit in my edc group so there's no point in me letting it go to waste. This is an excellent wilderness knife.
