I have up for trade my Bark River Sperati Point. It's new and never cut anything.
Specs- Overall Length:9.250 Inches Blade Length:4.750 Inches Cutting Edge:4.250 Inches Steel: 12C27 @ 58rc Steel Thickness: .175 Inches Weight: 5.75 Ounces
I'm looking to trade for a Bark River Gunny or a plain-edge RAT Cutlery RC-4 or 5...for my son.
This Sperati is just too nice for my son to thrash on. It deserves a good home.
"Sperati Point was the Summer Vacation Spot of Teddy Roosevelt. It is on the Oxbow Trail Overlook in the Badlands of North Dakota. -- A Pointed Spear Point knife that is great for puncturing as well as general purpose cutting including the processing of medium to large game animals. It is a fine knife for collecting as well."
Mine(pictured above) has a one-of-a-kind custom handle.(according to Mike Stewart-Bark River owner/designer)
It also is a "1st Production Run" model and is identified as such on the other side of the blade.
This limited run model is disco'd and quite collectible amongst Barkie fans.
A deluxe leather belt sheath is included and looks like the one pictured below for reference.
