hey all : ) i've been browsing the forums for quite a while, and so far have been able to learn all i've needed just by reading, so i hadn't registered yet. however, i finally decided that i'd like to trade a knife, so i had to register : )

i've got a very lightly used BM 556 with black handles. it has some scratches on the clip, but is otherwise unscathed. the blade has been used for some very minor cutting (paper, string, very thin foam), and could probably stand a bit of a touch up. there is no major blade nicks or damage though.

it functions perfectly, but it just a bit too small for my hands, and i can't seem to convince myself that it's "my knife." my spyderco salt I just feels better to me, physically and psychologically.

i'm looking for another EDC-capable folder, plain edge only, with a lock mechanism that is NOT a liner-lock. blade length ideally 3". particularly interested in Spydercos, but will consider others. ideally NIB or lightly lightly used.

i reserve the right to be a little picky; I bought the knife from a retailer with an outstanding return policy, so if nothing really sparks my interest, I may just return it. sorry to be lame like that, but money is a bit tight right now.

thanks for looking all, and thanks for providing me such great learning and entertainment up to now : )
