I have a much-carried BM 771 pre-production #317/1000 for trade. There is a nice, homey feel to the Al scales which are now well subdued. The corners are slightly polished from carrying. There are one or two very small dents in the handles. Blade is as-new except for the indent left by a rockwell tester. Very small. Adds character. I'd say this is a very nice knife for having been carried several days per week for 2 yrs. Also have a spare clip which I have not needed. I have pics, but they aren't worth much.
