I had this BOSE Lifestyle AV48 theater system wired in my house for about 2 years, I bought it from the local BOSE store.
This system has audio calibration - it analyzes your room and adjusts the sound system for the best performance. It also stores over 340 hrs. of music into the hard drive.
This is the WHITE model, with white subwoofer, 5 jewel speakers with wall mounts, media center, remote and all the wiring/RCA jacks/etc.
No longer have the box but still have the directions/paperwork.
I paid $4000 for this a couple years ago, i see them going anywhere between $1300-$2000 on ebay when they do come up and while i can't speak for those systems, i can tell you that mine is all there, in exc shape and it has suited me well up until now. I am moving/selling my townhouse and don't want to leave it for the buyer because he doesn't care about it. I'm also going to be moving overseas pretty soon and won't be able to take it with me.
