I'm looking to trade my browning Barker/Crowell Competition cutter. It was only used once to chop a 1x4. It has only a few small blemishes on the blade and still has its original edge. Its 15" o.a.l and has a 10" blade that is 1/4" thick though I'd say 7/32" is more accurate, and it comes with a nice brown leather sheath(pancake style I think) with a Sam Brown button or whatever its called on it. This knife is very high quality, even more so than most other Brownings. And I've owned 6 and really liked them all for their quality despite being made in Taiwan, which is nothing like being made in China.I only have a few group pics with it pictured but trust me when I say that the marks on the blade are of no significance so seeing them won't hold all that much weight on deciding..unless you have OCD or something, lol. In the solo pics the two actual blemishes on the blade are visible and they are at about the same height on the blade but about 2-3 inches apart, the rest is just finger smudges that can be cleaned off. I would be willing to add in this Cold Steel Double Agent II to sweeten the pot if its something you would like, its a few years old but never used, but I tried to sharpen it once. Its a neck knife though its pretty good in size for that purpose. Its a sweet blade though. Or I would add a good ole' Buck 119 which is unused but sharpened.
Its the second from the top
Its right next to the axe and hawk
Its the last one on the right
I am really looking to get a Buck Hoodlum or a Scrap Yard Dog Father, or possibly a Cold Steel Trailmaster. I'm open to hear any other offers for large camp knives and choppers in the $150 ballpark. Thanks for your interest.
