Please contact me at cdgilbert@alltel.net I don't check PMs very often.
First is a FBMLE. It's in the same condition I got it from Busse in. I am the only owner and have done nothing with it but buy a sheath and stick it in the safe. Factory Edge has never cut anything... even paper. It has a custom THICK leather sheat from ChuddyBear (Hope I spelled that right). He does fine work. Sheath has some marks and scratches.
Next is a FBM with gray coat and it had tan handles. But I tried to dye them black and they turned out the neatest color of walnut or cocbolo like. The knife is lightly used and has some coating wear. Not much though. I sent it to Bill Siegle to have him work his magic on this one. It has a penetrator tip done by Bill as well. It has not been used since it got back from bill. RAZOR sharp and in probably 97% finish wise. The sheath is OD green and is custom with kydex liner from Semper Paratus. Though not pictured... I do have both leg straps.
Next I have a rare Rob Criswell Bowie. Now there are bowies available from Rob right now but not like this one. I guess this is a prototype or first run or something. It's more like a little saber. It has no guard like the current model and has two pin G10 handles instead of the current coffin handles with I think six small pins. .25" thick A2 tool steel blade is approximately 13" long. The blade may have a sheath mark on it somewhere but I couldn't find one. It appears to be dead mint. Never used. Never cut even a piece of paper. It has a recessed Criswell Logo done in like a metalic blue anodize type thing on the blade. Very nice. I was told there are only 25 like this in the world. But I have never seen another one like it. The sheath is G10 for some reason. I would have assumed Criswell would have just included a Kydex one but this one is a little more complicated. It's more like a scabbard than a sheath.
Lastly I have a Benchmade Model 42 Balisong. I have opened it and closed it several times but I'm not skilled enough to go around flipping it and stuff. So you could it's virtually unflipped. Though I have swung it open a time or two. It has a 154CM blade still razor sharp and titanium handles, not clip with spring latch. I don't have pictures of this yet I will take some as soon as I can.
I'm looking for sort of specific things but can be open to quality hard use knives. Keep looking though... as more wants come to me I will add them to my list.
Busse Straight Handle Badger, or Badger III, Straight handle Mean Street, (If they made a meaner in .20" stock or thicker, I'll consider it.
Strider AR or SMF with 4" by .19" Drop Point Blade.
Crusader Forge Folder
Fallkniven A1, A2
Rob Criswell Sword (21-24" Blade with 11" to 12" Handle)
Other Rob Criswell Work
Bark Rivers (Models with a decent finger guard... The ones without them scare the hell out of me). Something like a Bravo One or even large models like the machete or golok.
A perfect trade for the Benchmade Bali would be like a Cold Steel SRK (Whatever steel) and a Benchamde basic Griptilian. Two less expensive knives to take camping.
Couple rules, No serrations, No tantos, No Kershaws, No fancy knives (Stuff with bone, or abalone, or junk like that)
