Hi Everyone...I've been able to customize some of my own production folders lately. This beauty is a Benchmade Warn Tanto, Axis Assist, full-size, plain edge in D2. I originally got this knife on trade. It was the standard WARN with black scales and a coated D2 blade. I went ahead and sent it off to Benchmade and had a brand new Satin Tanto in D2 put on it. Then I proceeded to make custom g-10 scales with a "anso" type pattern on them. Very similar sculpting as my 0550 scales at Blade HQ. I am not usually a fan of red but this red WARN custom looks awesome and feels even better in the hand. I didn't like how thick the stock scales were so I made these a little thinner. I do have one tiny spot on the g-10 that has a tiny pin hole where I had to route out the g-10 for the pivot housing. I didn't notice it myself until a couple days later when I was examining it. I have included a close-up pic of the pin hole. Besides that the knife has a new blade, new custom scales and is lightning fast. It will come with the lanyard as well.
