Due to a recent issue at my house while I was at work- I need a pistol the wife is more comfortable with. Everything I own is single action and she doesn't trust herself with working the slide and remembering safeties and the like.

Here's what I have to swap: 1976 C series Browning HiPower, BarSto match tube, C&S sear, ring hammer and safety, Spiegel thin grips and Wolff springs. C&S plumbed the gun (Level II package with addition of BarSto tube, sear and hammer package- "Not cheap" worth of work according to PO). Mag safety removed. Trigger is very. very nice and safety is the best I have felt on a HP. Very positive "click" on and off. Blueing is a bit worn in spots from presentation drills (I'd rate it an easy 85+%) Stock sights and one MecGar hicap mag. Nothing has been cut on this gun though I did entertain the idea of getting Novak to install sights and then get it hard chromed to finish it. Great shooting pistol that is great "as is" or for a few more bucks have the sights and finish done. I am partial to worn blueing so......
Things I'm looking for as she is comfortable with the following:
Glock 9mm 19, 26, 34, 17/L any gen
Beretta 21
Ruger PC9mm
USGI M1Carbine
Remington 870 riot. Older Wingmaster or newer Police. No HD models.
Remington 7400 Police in .223
Might look at wheelguns in .38/.357 or maybe even .22LR as well.
USGI Garands always welcome. Might be too much for her to shoot in the house as she's small but.....oh well. I'll leave it unloaded and she can use it as a club.:D
Other trades considered to even out the balance. For the right deal, I have a FIST holster that can go with the HP. Shoot me an email with what ya got.
Aaron
