I have this Emerson CQC-11 that I used to EDC in uniform, however my Manix has since then replaced it. It has been used but not abused. The coating took scratches because I have cut one soda can in half for dip.
Despite the look of the coating, I have only used it a handleful of times and it has only needed one touch up with ceramic sticks. Wicked sharp 154CM steel, 4.1 inch blade. It shaves like crazy. It is partially serrated.
