Howdy folks-
I've got a Brian Andrews modified Snow & Nealley Pen Bay Kindling axe (~17"). His website explains his modifications very thoroughly, but basically he ensures the edge and face have optimal profile for general axe work. I've never met anyone who knows more about axes than Brian. Here's his site:

I found that Brian had received one of these axes that had a handle with poor grain, and asked if he'd forgo the handle mods and only improve the head. That's what this axe is! I've used it thoroughly and have had no issues with the grain. The axe shows a few signs of use but it in excellent shape, and still has a great convex edge.
What I'm looking for: I'm wanting to try out the 18" Rosseli axe! The profile intrigues me. If you've got a gently used one in good shape, good alignment, etc. , drop me a line!
Certain puukko's or rucksacks may interest me, but mostly I'd like to play with the Rosseli.
Thanks for checking!
