Hi. I'm looking for a Himalayan Imports kukri. No specific model, just nothing with a super-swelled butt or guard. I'm okay with a used kukri as long as there's no damage to it and it fits the sheath safely. The two mini knives (the karda and chakma) are very much desired, but not necessary. I'm looking for a model with a blade in the 13"-16" range, so I suppose that would be an overall length of 18"-21". Weight isn't important.

Here's what I have to trade:
1. Ranger Knives RD-7. Lightly used, blade coating is carefully stripped off. Razor sharp, no damage or rust. Comes with original nylon sheath (no damage, rips, or tears).
2. Scrap Yard Scrapper 6. Lightly used, blade coating carefully stripped off. Razor sharp. No damage or rust. Comes with original nylon sheath (no damage at all).
3. Ontario TAK-1 in 1095 carbon. Blade coating has been carefully stripped off. Shaving sharp, no rust or damage. Comes with a leather pouch-style sheath.
4. Wetterlings Skinning Axe. Used once for photos. No damage or rust, shaving sharp. Includes original leather sheath.
5. Becker (Camillus) BK10 Crewman. Lightly used, no damage or rust. Retains original black finish. Razor sharp. Includes original nylon sheath (no damage) and a Kydex sheath.

Please let me know if you're interested in trading for any of these. Depending on the H.I. you've got to trade and its condition, I might do a two-for-one deal or something similar.

I have a modified WWII model. I've sanded the handle to flatten the sides a little and unpolish the horn for better grip. The tip has a little paint from where I hammered it into a dryer to test the point strength (it survived flawlessly), though the point has a very slight bend to the right from where it smacked brick chopping something. The edge is almost scalpel sharp, though, and I could sharpen it again before sending it your way, if you'd like. That Wetterling sounds like a mighty fine axe.

I'm interested in your offer. Any photos? Please E-mail me (I have VERY limited Internet access right now) and we'll work something out.

Here are some pics. I tried sending you an e-mail, but I don't know if it went through. What's your address, so I can e-mail you directly from my e-mail account?
I forgot that the blade has a little bit of a patina near the front. The tip doesn't show the paint, but it does show the slight bend of the very tip. PM me or email me at transpoole@hotmail.com if you're still interested.
