OK so I have two knives that I would call "Extras" meaning I have other knives that do what they do so they'd see little use. One is a Custom piece and is very nice. The other is a well used ESEE 6. I got pictures of the Custom... if I get some serious offerings of what I'm looking for then I can get some pics of the ESEE.

What I'm looking for. I will trade both of these knives straight up for a Gransfors Bruks 35" American Felling Axe. I will also consider the 31"... but I prefer the 35". Otherwise I will trade your choice of the two for a Wetterlings Large Felling Axe. Might consider some other vintage Axes but it needs at least a 4" bit and must be at least 3lbs.

That being said... I will entertain all Gransfors Bruks offers. I could use another Wildlife Hatchet or Sportsmans Axe , Scandi Forest Axe ect ect. I'm just not interested in the little ones like the mini hatchet or that strange little hand axe they make. But the Bigger the Better... I need a serious tree killer. Also could be tempted with a good Machete... would love a Blind Horse Knives Machete.

Not really interested in tomahawks, I'm good on folders, I'm really kinda good on fixed blades. I like Silky Folding Saws, and will always take a look at OD Green gear, LED Flashlights, things like that. But I am mainly looking for a large powerful axe.

1. ESEE 6 user. It has significant coating wear on the blade and the handle scales have been dyed black. The handle bolts appear to have been polished. Sheath is in good shape... I have the molle locks, a tech lock, and the metal clip somewhere I believe. Knife is in excellent structural shape. No nicks, dings, chips, bends, blunts, anything. It's just got wear on the finish. It is ready for anything. Edge is nice and sharp. It's a good user and will serve someone well. I can get pictures if you're seriously interested and have something I want to trade.

2. One of a kind Utility Hunter made by Canadian Knifemaker Steve Linklater. It's done in hand rubbed CPM S30V that is hollow ground, heat treated to approx 58-59 HRC and cryo'd. OAL 9&1/16th, Blade length Tip to Scales about 4&1/8th, Blade Thickness is around .15". Black/Gray Linen Micarta scales, stainless pins. This is a lovely piece with really nice lines. The handle is super comfortable, you could work with it all day without fatigue or hot spots. Nicely ground edge and is crazy sharp. Would make an excellent bushcrafter, field knife, hunter, all around wilderness blade. The steel will have the wear resistance of some better carbon steels yet with more rust resistance. Excellent for a knife that will be exposed to water, salt, dirt, blood, and various other outdoor goodness.
