Trading a user Himalayan Imports Khukri. Its a 20" Ang Khola Chirawa (full tang). I call it a user because I've put two small notches in the blade forward of the sweet spot. I've since filed down the bad spots, put a scotchbrite brushed finish on the blade, and given it a decent sharpening. Handle is in great shape. The only real defects are the notches in the blade which doesn't affect usage at all.

Looking for a large camp style knife in the 7-9in blade length. Something similar to an RD7/RAT7/CampTramp. I prefer a "user" as this knife will not stay mint. Will consider throwing in "something extra" for something nicer.

edit: will consider other types of knives (folders, fixed, etc)

Thanks.

FYI, I just weighed the khukri without the sheath or two extra knives: 2.56lbs. Thats one hell of a knife!

I'll consider other trades since noone has a large knife for me. Let me know what ya have.

The steel that they use to make Mercedes leaf springs. ;)

Seriously, the steel is good stuff. Read up on their website or on our local HI forum. Each is hand made by a single craftsman.

Bump. Gotta be someone looking for a high quality Khuk. If the tiny notches bother anyone, a little bit of time with a file will fix that up. Plenty of steel there!

Go for a DF. The Becker BK 7 is ok but a bit on the fragile side given your penchant for taking small pieces out of the Indian offering.

My assumption is that the DF will be available shortly. If you get to the end of your rope, I guess you might mail them a love letter.
