Looking to trade this Specter for one of the following:
Trade Value: $1,225
Holt Specter #315 V2
Blade: Bohler M390, Near Mirror
Spacer and Hardware: Titanium, Anodized
Handles: Titanium, Pinstripes, Cerakoted
Clip: Titanium, Cerakoted
Bearings: Skiff Rocket Glide Rings
V2 Specter with Near Mirror M390 blade and pinstripe milling pattern. Multiple owners, I received it as like-new. It has been carried and used but not abused.
Blade is in great condition and has the factory edge and has been stropped a few times. It's pretty damn close to factory sharp - I'm picky with my edges and I wasn't ready to sharpen this one yet. While taking these photos I noticed one pin-prick size shiny spot on the show side scale and two marks running down the blade lengthwise on the same side. The marks were very hard to capture in photos, even directly under a 6000k desk lamp, but they're there.
This one was all nude from the factory but I wanted to change it up: Hardware and backspacer anodized, scales and clip cerakoted by River Edge Cutlery to "MagPul Stealth Grey". Scales show some signs of handling but no major dings or scratches other than the mark seen on the clip. Anodizing on the hardware is slightly faded from handling.
Incredible action on Skiff bearings, solid lock up with the best acoustics in the game, currently tuned to a more hydraulic closing action. I just cleaned it up and lubed with a lightweight oil so it's good to go. Comes with box, detent tool, original bearings, Selinko card, and sticker. The box definitely shows signs of being passed around. The warranty voided due to mods although I'm not sure that they would turn you down if it ever needs to be sent in for repairs.
- MEFP Neon
- Mini Socom Drop point
- Rockstead CHI, RYO, or HIZEN
