I am after:
A Buck 303 Cadet, US made, preferably with rosewood scales and box, but am interested in all options available as I’m not too fussy.
Just a couple of examples that caught my eye: (1) A Chairman Series with wood scales on Ebay for $39.99 (2) One with EL CAJON branding on the blade on AAPK for $64.99.
My other option is to buy new in Europe for around £50-60 (so parity now, about $50-$60 since our wretched government wrecked our economy and individual wealth with the wave of a hand a week ago. I suspect prices will shoot up). However, only the black plastic ones are available, which are fine, but there may be a wider choice out there. Also, swapping helps keep the collection and wallet manageable.
I have:
1. An unused 91mm Victorinox Huntsman SAK with red transparent scales in a lovely presentation box with a compliments slip from the Swiss ambassador.
2. An unused 91mm ISC Schrade branded Waiter SAK.
3. A used 91mm Victorinox SAK modified by me to resemble an obsolete model called the Passenger.
4. A well used 1966 Dutch Army knife by AMEFA with brass liners.
5. A used 91mm Victorinox SAK modified by me, a tool rich SAK made as a homage to a discontinued model called the Woodsman. Nice magnifier with the grey surround and in-line Phillips driver.
Pick what you want to make it worth your while.
I am in the UK but will post internationally. I will take risk for damage or loss in transit for both parties. Each party to pay for posting their packet. I reckon it would cost me $15 or so to post one knife tracked to the USA, more for more knives.
