Wtt: I have two John Nelson Cooper original knives for trade. First is a mint like new Papoose which is totally unused and never sharpend in perfect condition. Has a pouch sheath that is not marked and may not have come with knife when new but could have.

Second is a Cooper Mini Bowie. This knife has original cooper marked sheath, an unusual s type guard and had been abused. It has been hand stoned to removed most pits and brought back to life. A few tiny pits nearly unnoticable still exist. It is at present a satin finish and it needs someone to finish the job and give it a high polish. A rare variation of a common knife.

Also have the Cooper Knives Book signed by both authors (Martin and Basch) and a first edition. Very informative for someone interested in Coopers knives. Excellent condition.

Cooper has been dead for years and is in the Hall of Fame and a charter member of the Guild. His blades can be expected to only increase in value, especially those with sheaths that are not coming out of Texas where his original stamps have been misused to fraudulently recreate many of his older knives after his death.
I have an interest in trading for a Randall 17 Astro for my collection and would consider trading both knives and the book for a Astro model 17 in suitable condition. Just for info, a couple of the book that is not signed is currently for sale on Ebay at the rather inflated price of $135 which I feel is all out of and sort of reason.
