I've got a 6000 grit King stone mounted on a plastic base. I don't like very polished edges so there's very little wear on it, the corner bevels on the top from the factory are still there. There's a small 1/8th nick on one side from a handling accident a few years ago (it's a very soft stone), but otherwise the is in excellent shape. I'd like to trade it for another waterstone in the 2000-3000 grit range, specifically I'd love a Naniwa #2000 Green Brick or Shapton 2k/3k stone but others in that range would be fine too.
I've also got a Spyderco medium ceramic benchstone I just never did warm up to, the blue plastic case has some damage from when I tried to clean it with gun cleaning solvent a decade or so ago. I used it alot before I got into waterstones but it gets cleaned with barkeepers friend whenever I use it, so there's not any metal loading to speak of. Same offer, I'd like a 2-3k waterstone in trade.
edit: The King stone measures 8 1/4 x 2 3/4 x 3/4 inches . The spyderco is 8 x 2 x 1/2 inches.
