Ok i will start by saying i dont know much about computers. Im not a tech savvy guy so i cant really explain much about this stuff other than what i can read on the stickers. I can however take better pictures of anything, or would be willing to talk on the phone and answer any questions you have on the stuff.
Now Im also not sure what works properly. When i got the stuff I was told it all worked perfectly. I never used any of the separate parts so id guess they still work fine. but i dont know how to test the stuff. If you want to talk about it over the phone id be willing to do/try whatever you want so you feel more comfortable.
Now the laptop is a HP DV7 4069WM. It has a bad CPU according to HP who i speant hours on the phone with turning it on and off until THEY told me the CPU was bad. They also said they could fix it for me, but i prefer my desktop now honestly.
The laptop turns on and the caps lock button light flashes over and over at a slow'ish rate, it does NOT boot up. It was a wonderful laptop that wasnt cheap so id hate to see it collect dust or end up in the trash if some tech savvy guy could make it work again.
The thing is, It will come without the hard drive, as the hard drive has all my personal data stuck on it.
Now for the parts;
I have four of 1GB little "chips" one 2gb little "chip" and one 512mb little chip.
The "HDD" thingys are 3gb, 40gb, 80gb, and 160gb.
If there is a relatively easy way to test the stuff id happily follow your instructions over the phone to test it for you. Otherwise no promises, no guarantee on any of it as i dont know whats what. But it was said to be working when i got the stuff, and i personally never used the stuff.
Id prefer to keep all the laptop "parts" together as 1 package. The laptop could be a 2nd package, or id do it all as a group.
Im not expecting a whole lot from this, but id hate for it to go to waste when someone could make a great computer out of it. SO id be real open on trades. Mostly knives/knife related stuff but you never know, If you have something your not using/dont need/want it might work out great for the both of us.
