I have a custom fighter hand-forged by Mark Nevling of Burr Oak Knives for trade. It is of forged W-2, differentially tempered, with a Sambar stag and stabilized maple handle with nickel silver guard. The knife is 12 1/4" overall, with a 7 1/2" blade. It is light and balanced in the hand, and will make an excellent "slicer." It comes with a zippered nylon carrying case, and with a custom-made sheath with a rattlesnake skin inlay.
