Got a SR Ratweiler w/ factory sheath. Knife was used twice, carried once, and never ever abused. There is some slight wear of the coating along the edge where it was sharpened and a tiny bit of wear along the mid section from a tree I limbed (limbs were 3/4 inch in diameter tops :rolleyes: ) but that is it. You'd have to look pretty hard for the wear.

I am looking for a Busse Combat with a blade length of around 8 inches. I would prefer the ergo grip and the mag handles as my hands are big and a blade with heft to it but am open to most anything so shoot me a line. The knife for trade can be new, like new, or used. Please nothing abused. Worn coating or "satined" finish is fine too.

Just to let you know, Busse's can be heavily abused, sharpened, and well used but they'll still be perfectly fine. If they break or something goes wrong. Busse co will take care of you. The only ruined Busse is a poorly modified one. Other than that, people have had SHBM's for YEARS and sharpened them countless times with mile of hard use and they're still going strong as ever!
 
You are absolutely right pbubsy, I just didn't really want something that was for example beaten on the face of the blade with a hammer or had the handle chipped or something like that. That's the abuse I was thinking.

Ad modified to: Abused as one using a Busse would. ; )

I know someone has a beat up Busse they want to trade for a pretty much new RW.
 
BTTT! Still looking! This is a really great knife just not really liking the handle so much (though apparently I'm an anomaly)!

I'm willing to send first since I'm new here. I'm pretty well established on SR chat and preparedtolive.org chat though.
