I recently bought this knife. It is custom made, with a custom Kydex sheath. Blade is PE and is a bit over 6.5 inches. The maker is Ted Frizzel;master bladesmith at MMHW. Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works produces some stout knives. http://www.mineralmountain.com/

The ONLY reason for letting this go is due to wanting one of the following knives I will list below. Since this is NEW, never used, carried, or sharpened, I'd like potential trade to be excel condition or at least close.

Rat Cutlery RC-50 (Survival Escape model)
Rat Cutlery RC-6P
Ontario RAT 7 (D2)
Ranger RD7 or RD9
Origional RD9 (Before Ontario acquisition?)

This is the One Off Tactical Field Knife
On the MMHW site it doesn't show this model. I think what Ted Frizzel does is from time to time offer a limited run of something and then doesn't offer it again. Can't guarantee it but that is what my guess is.
I just got this the other day. Like this knife a lot, but decided I want one of the things on my trade list, even more. Most of his blades go from 250 - 600.00 on his site I think.
 
Looks like a good number of people have read this.
Is MMHW a well known custom knife maker on this forum?
 
Don't know how to simply edit this.
Also interested in plain edge RAT 7 -- high carbon or other (not just D2)
Also Ontario or Ranger 7 or 9 or RD 7 or RD 9
So far these are the only ones which I think fit the fill and yet still possibly do it for straight trade or close enough.
If I had more cash to add I would look for BK77 (Extreme S30V) or even a highly modded, well done BK7 like I saw on eBay with custom finish blade, custom sheath, and scales.

Lots have looked at this, and have had several replies so far.

I finally retrieved the original description as adverstised by MMHW

Blade Length About 7.2 inches

Handle/Scales About 3.7 inches long
7" long blade
1 3/4" wide
1/4" thick
11 1/2" overall
5160 spring steel with black parkerized finish
Black Phenolic handles
Differentially/zone hardened
Sheath is custom molded Kydex.
