What I have:
S&W 65-5 (pre lock) 3" in like new in box condition, very low round count. Modifications include Magnaport Dual Traps (four ports) and Teddy Jacobsen action package. The trigger on this gun is butter smooth, and the ports manage recoil without being intrusive. I've shot this gun side by side with another .357 and the sound and flash are almost identical, while recoil is slightly reduced.

S&W 66-6 (internal lock) 3" in like new in box condition, very low round count. This was a special run for Lew Horton and was limited production. This gun has a Hi-Viz front sight and V-notch rear sight.

Handmade brown leather holster with thumb break, made by David Newcomb. Holster fits both guns or any 3" K frame S&W.

HKS speedloader for S&W K frame.

Mustang brand finger groove wood grips. Not sure what wood species, but they have a natural (almost unfinished) look. Grip screw was overtightened at some point, so there is a slight bulge on the inside of one panel, but no damage to outside of grip panel or effect on function.

What I'm looking for:
1911 pistol (.45 only) with a stainless slide and frame. I would like the gun to have fixed sights, and would prefer non-night sights. I am interested in either 4" or 5" barrel, nothing ultra compact or longer than 5". An ambi safety would be nice, but single side is ok too. This will be my first 1911, and I don't know a lot about them yet, but I've determined that I do want these features. The only brand I have looked at so far is Kimber, but I'm open to Springfield or other quality brands.

PLEASE email mattz357@yahoo.com because my notifications do not come through, and I won't know you've posted unless I check. I am located in IL, but will ship both revolvers for the right deal/gun. I am not interested in selling right now, but if I don't find a 1911 soon that may become an option. Many photos of each gun are available if you are interested, but here is one of each side of both guns. Thanks in advance for any interest!!!
