Last night I received in the mail a new Ka-Bar #1251 short model classic blade. I really like the blade and style, its just that the handle is really too small in my rather large oven mitt hands. I came to the realization that the full-size Ka-Bar would suit me better. This knife would really work best for someone without banana-hands, or for your lady camping friend.
The overall length is 9 1/4",it is plain edge (unserrated) and it has the stacked leather handle, black coated blade and 1095 steel. Comes with box, papers, and leather sheath.
I am looking for the big brother version of this knife (leather handle), either new or slightly used.
