I have a SJT Black on Black for possible trade. Only used to do some light chopping a couple of times. Some coating wear but otherwise perfect. Sharpened once. Very sharp. Comes with a custom Okuden A1 sheath.

I am looking for a NO-E or an AD. New or used. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

I handled Shane's NO-E at the Mischief, and it was very nice. I thought for sure you would like the SJT, though. Do you have a pic?

Does it feel like the Desert Rat? I can't remember the exact name. :o
 
I really do like the SJT. And the Okuden sheath is awesome. I may end up keeping it. But I just received my BA-E and can't imagine a task I couldn't cover between my SH-E and BA-E. I am trying to narrow things down to 2 or three knives (big, mid, small or big,small) mainly due to $$$. So I have been working my way through the Busse/SwampRat line to test them out since I do not live anywhere near a show where these blades would be on display. In fact I have a SAR Rat due to arrive any day now for further inspection. So we will see what happens.

I can't wait to see them.

I have my SAR on the table in front of me, and I would be hard pressed to find a Rat, or anything else for that matter, that I like better.

Of course, when you get ready to get rid of the SAR I am here for you, brother! :D
 
O.K. here are some pics.

As you can see, there is some light wear on the blade where I split some wood. And at the tip some coating is worn almost off from cutting through some sheet rock. No damage to the blade at all.

Like I said, I really like this blade but just can't afford to have one of each. (maybe one day :) So I've been test driving them one at a time. ;)
