I see. Just struck me as odd as it appears he didn't start putting logos on 'til later. The F&f looks a lot.. sloppier than what I've seen from him. I guess it's possible it's one of his first attempts at knife making, but I'd send him a message about it.

could be a counterfeit knife. not saying it is though
 
i spoke to jason and personally asked him this is the reply i got. "ya we made about 15 of those, all by hand, VERY first version we ever made, hand rubbed finish"
