I received this knife in a trade about two weeks ago. I don't think the thing was ever really sharpened. It came pretty dull. It seems to be well used though. The clip has minor wear and the FRN seems to be in pretty good condition. The blade has a good amount of scratches and I tried my hardest to show them in the pictures. They need to be in the right light to be seen well. The tip seems to be alright, not sure how sharp it is suppose to be but you can sort of guage for yourslef in the picture. I sharpened this knife about 4 times because for some reason I could not get this knife sharp. I never really have a problem with sharpening but I am an amateur and still don't understand it too well. I got it sharp enough to cut paper barely. Im not sure what the edge geometry is right now but I had it on 40 degrees on my sharpmaker. I probably should have just sent it to Spyderco to sharpen it. I just didn't want to wait. This knife would be good for people who don't care about some scratches and are able to sharpen. If anyone wants to trade, email me at: magasgk@sbcglobal.net.
