This knife is from Kyle Mellino who is an apprentice under Andy Roy at Fiddleback Forge. Knife was bought directly from Kyle and has been used to cut open the tape on packaging/opening mail a few times. It does not have a sheath, so it has not been carried. Dyed Box Elder Burl over Natural Liners and Lime Pinstripes, 3/32" A2 steel with a Skeletonized Full Tang. This knife is little. 4 1/2" overall length with a 2" blade length. Original edge has not been sharpened or stropped.

This small pen knife is handled in French Ivory. It has been carried only a few times by me, but as I am not the original owner, I don't know what kind of life it has lead. The photos show the blade rub marks on the main blade; I'm 99% confident this was caused by me when opening the blades and not from the blades naturally rubbing against each other. Knife is 3 1/4" closed. I really don't know much about this knife regarding age or blade steel.

Purchased new directly form Austin here on BladeForums. Knife is 8 1/4" OAL with a 3 1/4" edge. Steel is .139" CPM 154CM double tempered with cryo to a 60Rc hardness. Green Canvas Micarta over Orange G-10 Spacers and 304 stainless fittings. No sheath. Knife has been used sparingly and not abused. This knife has been sharpened.

Received in a trade as used and continued to be used in the kitchen. This knife is made with C70 carbon steel and is a full flat grind; which is a combination that is a bit hard to find. It comes with the original box and leather sheath. Patina through kitchen use. Has not been abused. Has been sharpened and stropped.

The Queen-made Schatt & Morgan will be in the next post.

What I'm interested in:

The top of the list right now is leather crafting tools and consumables. More specifically, I'm looking for:
-Overstitching wheel (preferably the "kit" style with multiple wheels)
-Diamond Punches
-#2 Edge Beveler
-V-Gouge
-Bone Folder
-Edge Slicker
-4oz-10oz Vegetable tanned leather
-1mm-1.2mm waxed thread
-Soft-faced mallet
-Cutting mat
-Stone work surface
-Stitching Pony
I will also consider other crafting tools and accesories like a 1x30 belt sander or small drill press.

As far as knives that I may be interested in:
-1988 Black Box Winchester Gunstock
-2018 GEC 15 Single Spear Blade Ebony Barehead Jack
-Resolza Pattada or similar
-Laguiole
-US-made Schrade Sharpfinger
-KA-BAR Dog's Head Utility Knife
-Fiddleback Forge Machete
-Fixed blades in 3/32" or less stock (thinner the better) with "mid-range" steels (i.e. CPM154, VG-10, AEB-L, etc)
I'm okay with multiples going towards single knives either way, but I do not have any cash to add.

Thanks for stopping by! Start up a Conversation or email me with any questions or offers.

Queen-made Schatt & Morgan Physicians' Knife made in 2000 as the NKCA Youth Club Knife. The NKCA website describes the knife as: "The handles are smooth black horn, and the knife features stainless blades, brass pins and liners, and nickle silver shield and bolsters. ... The total closed length is 3 3/4"." This knife was sold to me as new, and I have no reason to doubt it. I have not used it or sharpened it. Comes in original box.

woodysone woodysone Sorry we couldn't work something out. I'm super jealous that you get to head to Blade West, though!

Everything listed is still available.

I'm willing to trade both the Schatt and Morgan and the Wostenholm for one of the new single clip-blade GEC #14s in Ebony.

Willing to trade all three remaining knives for the Olde Towne Cutlery Smooth Green Bone GEC #14.
