Still a basic member here, thought I'd try to make a trade. Like New in box Case lockback pocket knife. 3" closed, 5 3/16" open. Jigged red bone look scales, probably Delrin.
I'm a lifelong Buck owner & novice collector, and I bought this Case a couple of years ago when I thought of expanding my collection to include some other brands. I later realized that my interests in guitars, knives, and antiques of other sorts do not leave the time or money to learn the history, date codes, etc. well enough to start collecting other brands of knives. There are plenty enough Buck models to keep me busy for now.
I purchased this as LNIB, and have not done much with it. It seems much too pristine to carry. Very slight handling wear, and a couple of slight freckles that I'm sure should polish out. Blade appears to be the factory edge and unused. Box includes paper wrap, owners manual, and "packed by" & "inspected by" slips. I think I recall it as being made in early to mid 80s, someone may be more familiar with the date code.
I'm looking for the older Buck 315 Yachtsman with nickel bolsters in excellent condition. I'm not so concerned if it doesn't have box, papers, etc.
