Ladies and Gentlemen - For your consideration....
I present a Sears - Dunlap Texas Jack.
This was made by Camillus for Sears.
I believe this knife is from the 1940's , the handle material is a composite of some sort made to look like Stag , it is somewhat flammable from what I have heard so use caution !
Both blades snap open nice and crisp , there is very little blade play if any for a knife of this age. This knife is not mint , it was used by previous owner , albeit gently. Little bit of corrosion on Clip blade , just enough to add character. Both blades are very , very sharp.
Both blades are under 3 inches , handle is under 4 inches.
In my opinion this old knife is pretty darn good shape.
What I am looking for -
I am only interested in a New or Used , single blade slipjoint of American make. GEC , S&M , Case and the like. If you want an exact idea of what I am looking for take a peek at the Schatt and Morgan Heritage Series Spearpoint , anything like that will pique my interest. I epect the knife traded to have no blade wobble , I have no problem with honest wear and tear though.
I am not interested in shell type handles like Imperial , or any Slipjoint with more than one blade , would prefer Spearpoint or Wharncliff or Sheepsfoot but other blades styles will be considered.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend !
