I "accidentally" bought two Mini Grips (that's the story I told my wife and I'm sticking with it) and now I feel the need to pass one on. It's new, in the box, never carried, used, sharpened, or modified. Comes with all relevant paperwork, box, and the black nylon bag. This is model 556; plain edge, 154CM steel, AXIS lock; 2.91" clip point blade; dual thumb studs; 3.86" closed. I paid MSRP for it, but I'm willing to let it go at retail price, in trade.
EDITED: I realized that I'm not allowed to mention prices in the Trade Forums. For the sake of clarity, I'm referring to KnifeCenter's price when I say I'll let it go "at retail price". I'm not affiliated with them in any way; just a reference.
I'm looking for a few folders, named below. Feel free to mix-and-match as you wish, as long as it adds up to around the price (plus or minus $10 is okay) of the Mini Grip. I prefer NIB, but used works as long as everything is un-abused (see below).
Boker Subclaw (price is $29)
Boker Direkt, plain edge (price is $46)
Spyderco Delica 4 in ZDP-189, plain edge (price is $65)
Byrd Raven, plain edge, G-10 handles (price is $25)
Spyderco Cricket, plain edge, etched handles (price is $65)
Spyderco Dragonfly, plain edge, black FRN (price is $30) or etched handles (price is $60)
Used Knives I prefer new, but there's nothing wrong with used as long as there's no damage. I recieved a Leek in a trade that I was told "used, but in great shape" and it turned out to have a chipped blade, blade play, pocket clip but no screws, and one handle screw missing. So, if you want to trade me some of your used knives, please make sure that all of the parts are there as the knife left the factory. Please don't send me a damaged or screwy knife.
Shipping I'll pay shipping (and insurance) to send my package to you; you pay shipping (and insurance) to send your package to me. I live in Ohio. When we come to an agreed day for shipping, we'll both send our packages out the same day and report a tracking number to the other person.
