I have an abundance of handle woods figured walnut blocks (which can be sawn into scales) and lots of 8"x4"x1/4+/-" pieces of Machaerium scleroxylon (sells by several trade names), leopard wood (Roupala spp), zebrano (Microberlinia brazzavillensis), and wenge (Millettia laurentii). Im looking to trade primarily for 1085, 1095, or D2. Offers of other steels may be entertained. Quantities negotiable.

oh forgot, since I neither have a forge nor anvil right now I'm looking for 1/8th"-3/16th".

Ok, 69 views and not one responce. What is this un desireable about this trade? These are all desireable and attractive woods. Most if not all of these woods are more expensive pr handle block or scale set than a yard of 3/16"x1 1/2" 1095 or1085.

not being $#!TTY, i want to know what the turn off is. Fully planning on doubling Jantz prices wood to steel.

Just a thought but, what your offering and what your looking for are more knife maker related, and I'm not sure how many knife makers check this section of the forum regularly. You might have better luck checking the Knife Makers Market section of the forum under Knife Making Supplies and Tools for someone selling the steels your looking for and PM'ing or Emailing them to see if they would be interested in a trade. That forum can be located here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/765-For-Sale-Knifemaking-Supplies-amp-Tools

Not trying to step on any toes, just trying to help you out.

Good luck, Les.
