Instead of starting a whole new F/T thread, I thought I'd just redo this one. I'm no longer looking for a Strider SnG (I have a very nice Bos stamped one, thank you).
I'd really like a LCC or other Lightfoot designed MicroTech, or a Lightfoot, a Lamber, or basically a nice frame-lock high-end production or custom. Used is fine, but obviously lockup & such needs to be good. I need to keep this within the U.S. (Or at least ship it to a U.S. address). Here's what I have:
Custom Peter Bauchop Shaman folder: Used, but in VG condition. This S. African knife is 5" closed (Ti liner-lock) with sculpted black micarta scales, & a 3.75" dagger shaped single edge D2 blade. There is no clip currently on this folder, although it can easily be done.
Custom James Matthes tanto folder: Near mint. Matthes is no longer making knives. This one's 4.75" closed, with blue anodized Ti liner-lock & cross shaped thumb-stud, slightly sculpted black micarta scales, & 3.5" chisel ground PE ATS-34 blade. Has a low-riding clip for right hand tip-up carry.
Custom STR folder: Used, but in excellent condition. This is basically a STR Ti frame-lock folder, but instead of having his 1095 wharncliffe blade, he used a Spyderco Gen. 1 Centofante PE ATS-34 blade (A wharncliffe with a slight belly to it). Has the Spydie thumb-hole. 4" closed, with 1/8" thick Ti frame-lock on one side & 1/8" thick brown micarta scale on the other side. The blade's 2.75" long, with a full 2.75" edge. This also has one of STR's signature Ti low-rider clips (Tip-down carry). As far as I know, this particular knife (With this specific blade & brown micarta scale) is a one of a kind.
Darrel Ralph Design "Mid-Tech" Maxx Q1A flipper: VERY lightly used. Stonewash finish mini-Gunhammer shaped 3.5" S30V blade. Has a 4.5" sculpted black G-10 handle with a thick Ti liner-lock & Ti liner (Lock side only). Has "hidden" lanyard hole. This knife's light & flips open smoothly & quickly. Has a black clip for right hand, tip-down carry.
I am pretty open as to what I want, so please ask away. However, I'm looking for high quality production/custom knives. Please don't offer a bunch of low-end knives.
