Hello Bladeforums,
I’m looking to trade a couple CRK Sebenza 31’s for a Seiko Speedtimer “Panda” model, reference number SSC813
Here is what I’m looking to trade. I want to trade BOTH theses knives for a LNIB/NIB Seiko Panda Chronograph
Plain Jane large drop point with blue thumb stud, spacer, and lanyard tube. Blade is S45VN-
I purchased this from the Exchange here on BF in late July or early August and I believe I’m the second owner. The action on this knife is the best I’ve ever seen on a Sebenza 31. Very smooth and as close to the classic hydraulic feel of the 21 I feel the 31 is capable of. The knife has been carried, used, disassembled, and sharpened. There are some snail trails throughout and the blue ano on the thumb stud is wearing through on the top. Everything on this knife is perfect except for some blade play. There’s some very slight up and down as well as some left and right. The up and down is not so much “lock rock” as it is a very slight movement of the lockbar. Every Sebenza 31 I’ve owned has had this up and down movement, I’m not sure why. The knife is still safe and secure for sure, but there is a bit of movement regardless. The knife comes with the box, birthday card, Allen key, loctite, and cloth. It won’t come with the grease or the original lanyard cord.
LEFT HANDED large drop point with black micarta inlays and plain satin hardware. Blade is Chad Nichols Boomerang Damascus -
I purchased this knife brand new from BladeHQ so I am the original owner. I purchased it with the intention of doing a year long carry of it, but I’m just not as interested in it as I had hoped. Those one has been carried and used for about 45 days straight. It has lots of snail trails on the Ti as well as scuffs on the corners and edges of the scales. The knife has been used, disassembled, cleaned, and sharpened. There are scuffs and hairline scratches on the blade from use. This is the acid etching being slowly worn away from processing a bunch of cardboard and other materials. One trip to CRK’s spa and it will look brand new again. But if you’ve ever been interested in carrying and using a Damascus inlayed Sebenza but we’re too worried to make the first scratch on it, here’s your chance. The action on this on is pretty darn good, but not Sebenza 21 quality. There is some slight up and down play as I described in the knife listed above. It’s more of a very slight movement of the lockbar than actual lock rock. It is solid left and right. The knife will come with everything it would come with new except the grease tube and original lanyard cord.
If you’d like to make a deal please send me a PM here or email me at silvanus.on.usn@gmail.com
