WTTF Vintage Microtech D/A’s: MTX-2, LCC, ATCF, MSG-2

Hello fellow auto addicts,

I’m searching for these older Microtech Dual Action automatic models, and I’d like to work out a trade deal for one or more of them.

What I’m looking for in order from most obsessed with to still pretty obsessed with:

• Microtech MTX-2 D/A
• Microtech Lightfoot LCC D/A
• Microtech ATCF D/A
• Microtech MSG-2 D/A
• Also looking for a John Gray Gravitron

My only two requirements are that they be fully functional (mechanically) and non-serrated. They don’t have to be museum pieces cosmetically. However, I feel about as good about serrations as I do about AUS-8 steel.


Below is what I have for trade. All of these are absolutely spotless, non-serrated, and in untouched condition unless otherwise specified...

• MT Socom D/A 2002
• MT Chameleon D/A 1997 w/ belt pouch. — A very minor scratch on clip side of blade and a tiny bit of missing coating on the top of the “hilt” part of the scales. Not really noticeable unless you are looking for it.
• Brend M2 CKT D/A w/ Belt pouch
• Rob Dalton Warcom (hidden actuator/release)
• Darrel Ralph HTM Gun Hammer Torpedo Automatic, DLC & Dark Earth
• Lone Wolf Lobo D/A (w/ cocobolo scales)
• Protech Strider SNG Operator “Sterile” - Unopened
• Benchmade Ti Monolock 1st Prod Run #104/1000
• Spyderco Lil’ SubHilt D/A,
• Spyderco Shaman x 3: BHQ-M4 DLC, St. Nicks-4V, Knife Joker-Cruwear — St Nicks-4V has some minor discoloration in the DLC on clip side, not scratches though
• And various production OTS auto’s: Protech, Piranha, BM, Kershaw, Heretic, Spyderco, Microtech, etc.

Below are some poorly executed pics of some of the blades I have for trade... just to show that I’m not full of it. I will take better pics with timestamps should anyone express a genuine interest in trading.

Lastly, I have also been trading via r/knife_swap for a while now. My user name there is u/autoknifenerd Please feel free to check my profile there... I dabbled on FB for awhile too, but that place is just too full of crazy people for me.

Regardless, since we’re talking about some expensive blades, if you don’t have at least as many feedback entries as I do, we will have to work something out so that everyone is confident that the deal is above board.

Also, I forgot to mention that I don’t Tanto. So all of the blades that I have for trade will be standard/drop-point/clip-point/recurve/etc. As far as I know, the Gravitron is the only knife I’m looking for that has a tanto version, and I would probably be ok with it on that specific blade.
