WV Hog Round-Up report

I was really enjoying the first few pics, some nice looking country shared with friends and family with the opportunity for outdoors cooking and a bit of knife use. Pretty much my idea of heaven.

Then Trevor showed us the cabin. He might call it a cabin, i'm calling it a lodge. I'd swap my apartment in the city for that place in a heartbeat. You're a lucky man Trevor, I know most of that luck has probably been created through hard work and saving so my hat is off to you sir.:thumbup:
 
Gentlemen, I appreciate the kind comments although I never called it a cabin...Others did.

I said, "LOG HOME". It is way bigger than I ever expected. I would be happy to sell my current home....If someone would buy it , and move up to WV too. I cant tell you how I felt when my friend handed me the keys. Its been 9 years coming.

Anyway, I say this for those that dont know...

I grew up on a chicken farm and was happily raised in a double wide til I was 15. I come from a wonderful hard working God fearing family from a small town. I have had to work for everything. I am not a trust fund baby born with a silver spoon.Even though we all have our own crosses to bear and the last 4 or 5 years have been the toughest of my life... If you told me my life would have turned out the way it has when I was younger I would have laughed. I will be first to say that I am extremely fortunate, and even more grateful of the life the God Lord has Blessed me with.

I look forward to having another Round-up for my Hog Brutha's one day soon cause this area usually ranks as the highest in bear, deer, and turkey harvest every year for the whole state.:thumbup:

THanks Guy. I think I will take wife and kids up this weekend to see it for the first time.

Yeah, I only went up that week for one night....wed and came back thursday to take furniture.
