Trying to gague interest in a meet-n-greet before the show (Jan. 30, 31 and Feb. 1 at the Charleston Civic Center.) Here is a link to show info, location, etc:

Looking at meeting for coffee/breakfast Saturday morning and then heading to the show. We'll hammer out details as input is gathered. :)
 
I gotta say, I am a little underwhelmed with the initial response here. :p

Oh well, I'll keep at it, and if it doesn't pan out, we can shoot for something else another time. :thumbup:
 
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I just got a call from Herb Derr, and he is setting up a table at the show this year, so he is unavailable for any pre-show hanging out. I promised to stop by when I was there, though. :thumbup:

I know HD was planning on going Friday afternoon/evening, and that might work better for me, but I could still probably do Saturday morning. Spiralarchitect? How about you? Could you swing Friday, or is that a deal breaker for you?

We will be meeting at the Sahara Restaurant on Summer Street at 4:00 (ish).

Hollowdweller has arranged for us to have a little privacy there so we can pass around some steel without freaking other diners out. :thumbup:

Afterwards, we will be heading to the Civic Center for the Hunting & Fishing Show.

All are welcome! Hope to see some of you folks there. :cool:
 
Yeah they have a room off their main dining area and they are going to set us up a couple tables there!:thumbup:

We're meeting today (Friday) between 4:00 and 4:30.

sorry guys can't make this one...having a four wheel drive makes me the taxi for my friends in this weather...
 
Man, I really wanted to get together as well - but the weather made for an interesting day at the ol' Telephone Company - couldn't get out.

Would love to try again sometime if you guys set up another meet.
