WW2 Arctic rescue and survival story...

Very interesting indeed. As somebody who lives near the arctic I know how gruellling it can be(even in comfortable homes)the darkness for weeks on end is very depressing and debilitating. The only thing that kept them alive ultimately, was hope and trust in their comrades' efforts to rescue them.Man can endure a lot of physical deprivation, even fear but however well-equipped you are if your mind gives up then all is lost.in the darkness and loneliness this can easily happen even to the toughest.
