WW2 CASE XX quartermasters knife 337-6Q

grabbed this today , these are the least common Quartermasters knife , the 225 Q had the most numbers , grip is in remarkable condition on this 337 6Q , these came with the fine grooves for no slip handling , the Cattaraugus 225 Q had smooth grip so you see almost every one where the soldier created finger grooves in the leather handle or scuffed it up real good , came with what appears to be brand new sheath

I have several 225Q's, one named to a pilot who flew unarmed transport planes behind Japanese lines in the CBI. I have one 337Q which I prefer, only because the handle is a little longer and better fits my hand. John
