hello allI have a Japanese sword brought back by a grandfather in law (I guess that's how to describe him)
Anyway I'm no expert on it by any means,from the research I have done the marks say it was made between (1936-1945)...now this is web info so please dont bar-b-que me if I'm wrong or think I'm trying to get over on someone.and if you know about it or have better info feel free to pm me so I can correct it.
It's in pretty good shape,I'm not sure what the handle material is,the blade has 1 chip in the edge some scratches ,and scuffs, scabbard is ok ,has scratches and scuffs but not dented
I don't really know what else to describe ,please let me know and I will send detailed pics with my phone because when I try to post good pics it says file is to big....
Now price I'm going by what I found on the net and it's right in the middleish ,if I'm way off please let me know ,if I'm low then you get a deal if I'm high ( on price not state of mind)

Ok guys more pics below,it's hard to get a decent shot the blade is shiny
The chip is at 5 1/8" look close its small all the scuffs or scratches look like wear from going in and out of the scabbard, they look like you could probably buff them out if you wanted .if anyone is interested I think if I did a short video where I could move the blade in the light you could see more .pm me a address and I'll send a video if you want
