This is a Heer dagger I got from a Army COL who got it in Berlin back in the 70's. It's been a safe queen for decades, and has very little wear or weathering to show. This is the white handled version, the blade is unmarked, and the fittings are pot metal. The blade has very faint freckling, just a few dark spots in the high polish showing. The hilt and pommel are still silver but not shiny. The handle has shaded slightly yellow. The sheath is still silver with only a couple of spots. I tried to show all this in the photos. The hilt is slightly loose (they all seem to be) and moves maybe 1/16". The knife and sheath have been carefully wrapped away so there's no major oxidation or tarnish.
