WWII Seabee Western Mark 1

Original WWII Western USN Mark 1 Seabee with original western leather sheath. The half guard and the flat round pommel are steel. The blade is stamped "WESTERN BOULDER, COLO PAT. NO.1,967,479 " its 5 1/8" long and is sharp with very little wear. Overall length is just under 9 1/2" The Western leather sheath has faint writing on the front that follows" Herman E. Kazitierski Detroit Mich. 2-17-44 New Guinea" There is also a heart with initials most likely his wife or girl back home. The back of the sheath has "Sean" carved on it. This knife and sheath are in good original condition and is an original Navy SeaBee from WWII. Not easy to find one of these!
