WWII Vintage Randall Re-Handle

This Randall was buried in the ground for 30 years with the soldier that died with it by his side in Korea. My customer asked me to re-handle it as a WWII theater knife. It was a great project to work on and I like to think that the soldier that owned it would have liked the out come.

New tip

Glued up

Finished with a new patinia

Awesome job re-handling the Randall. Thats a piece of history right there. Am guessing its a Model 1, whats the blade length on it?

That is lexan (polycarbonate).

So inquiring minds want to know... how did it come to be "unburied"?
