I wanted to let everyone know not to order from this website! I know that many people have been cheated by him, and my experience was horrendous. I asked him if he had shipped yet, and he tells me he thinks he should cancel my order because he didn't like the fact that I inquired about his reputability on this newsgroup! Then he keeps telling me he will ship, then that he is going to cancel the order--basically wasting my time. Then he tells me (remember, 10+ days later) that he won't match the price I submitted because the knife I ordered was discontinued (he is wrong...I checked with Benchmade)!!!

Finally, after speaking with Benchmade, they offered to match his lowest price ($85 for M2 Stryker..not bad) and to ship for free!! Not only do they make great production knives, but they stand behind their product and have fantastic customer service! Lesson learned: DO NOT ORDER FROM WWW.DISCOUNTKNIVES.COM and Benchmade is a great company! Hope someone finds this post useful...thanks to those that gave me advice/warnings.

sorry to hear about your bad experience... that really sounds terrible... I usually don't check this forum, but today I just happened upon it, and as a matter of fact, Monday night I ordered from discount knives, but I experienced no such problems. I received the knife this afternoon, safe and sound, via USPS priority mail, with a nice note from Brian in the box guaranteeing the product. Guess ignorance in bliss sometimes. After seeing sveral threads on lousy service from him, it does make me wonder. I did save quite a few dollars on my new F1 though, enough to make a significant difference over other internet stores. hmmm

Based on my experiences & what I've heard, it's true hit and miss with Discountknives.

Well, they/he nowdays won't ship overseas (in fact not even to Canada)...
... but not a big loss, IMHO...
