Not that I think this is a bad site, quite the contrary they have excellent prices, but I payed through paypal for an order that should be instock as it does not say out of stock on thursday after hours, and through my login it says new order, and refuses to give me a shipping number, does service usually take this long, is it that paypal takes longer to process, or do they not usually add a shipping number? I shot them an e-mail earlier, hopefully I come up with something.

ps. I am sure this will get moved revealing the proper area for this post.
 
It will probably be moved... but in my experience they are great, great people to deal with. Call Roger during business hours, he is a stand up guy and will answer your questions.
 
Yes knifeworks is really good, I agree with jthomas, call roger he'll take care of it.
 
To chime in, Roger truly is a great guy and very helpful. One of the best on-line dealers around, without doubt. If there is a problem, I would put it on PayPal before Roger, and if the problem stems from the KnifeWorks side of things, I'm quite sure that it will be taken care of.:thumbup:

to me knifeworks is comparable to new graham. I've had top notch service from both of them. I usually purchase slightly used from the secondary market, as I am a user and cosmetics aren't as important to me as functionality, but when I do buy retail, knifeworks, 1sks, and ngk are the online stores I use.

hope that helps alleviate your worries a little bit. They are super fast shipping too, at least to MA. And I spoke to a girl about an out of stock item once, and she was very very accomodating.

I have dealt with knifeworks.com for years...back when they were known as "Bayou LaFourche". I have only good words to say about them. Great products, good prices, quick shipping and at least in my case, have had great communications with them when I needed a question answered.
 
Knifeworks is the site where i bout my last 10-15 knives i would say, and i have never had an issue. Its probably an electronic fluke. But whenever i order, i do it by phone and ask about the knife to make sure it is in stock. They also ship it within 2 days all the time.
 
I received once a defective product and they rght away sent me a new one, even before receiving the defective one back. They are A-OK in my book. Good prices too!
 
Then simply ask for a refund, thats if they even charged you yet. No biggie. Its happend to me before and all i did was ask for a refund. What did you order exactly?

I called to inquire about it and was told that its backordered also.
