Last week a friend came to the forge with a hand full of old files and asked if I would show him how to make a knife from them. I took him through the forging, heat treating and grinding by making this one myself. So here is another demonstration knife for sale.
Forged from an old Black Diamond file
Flat grind with a machine finish
Approximately 1/8 inch thick material
Clipped
Curly maple handle
Overall length including the hook: 12 1/2 inches
Blade:6 5/8 inches
Wood handle:4 1/8 inches
Leather scabbard
