X-Rhea Bowie 11 inch blade (pro photo pg 2)

I need to know things. So, the way I find out for myself is to try.

that's one of the best combination of words I've ever read.

I would welcome the opportunity to chop with one - perhaps Ryan or others who have can share their thoughts?

A wonderfully innovative design.

I cut with it, Roger...it's surprisingly comfortable in the hand. I wouldn't see a problem packing it to the woods for a brush clearing tool...looks good, cuts good, all good;)

Everyone has already pretty much covered the praise aspect......with which I concur.

You should consider doing a pass-around of one of these choppers Lin.......let a bunch of guys, who would like to try cutting with one, get a chance to use it for a few days and then send it on to the next guy. I know a few Canadians who would love the opportunity to study one of those for a few days. Keep it limited to trusted bladeforum members so you don't have it disappear somewhere. Think it over, and put me on the list if you decide to do it!:)

Thanks.

Darcy, I cant promise that but I will have at least one at Blade as I mentioned.

I hope no one minds my posting this smartphone pic of Dr. David Darom's book, Custom Fixed-Blade Knives.

This piece is 'The Mayor's Mistress', by Gay Rocha, and illustrates my way of thinking when I made the previous comment regarding filling the handle with something.

No problem Lorien. I understand what you mean. Interesting knife in Mr Darom's book. Thanks for sharing that.
